On September 20th, 2025, we are calling all the mighty manly warriors in the Niagara area that want to be equipped with the armour(Eph. 6:10); necessary to “Fight the Good Fight” (1 Timothy 6:12) to join us for a day of encouragement, strategy, fellowship, worship, praise, prayer and the rules of engagement when it comes to the spiritual war all of us men are engaged in daily.
We believe it is necessary to embrace our masculinity and lean in on the fact that we are built for battle and are meant to be the leaders in our families and communities. It is time we take a stand and learn how to be victorious over all the enemies efforts to demoralize, disenfranchise and destroy our spirits and block us from us all fulfilling our destiny. God has a plan for us all and he has designed us all to be steadfast in our faith and to rebuke all that is evil in this world, the lies that the enemies has deviously imposed on us and seeing many of us unwittingly agree with him.
There will be several worship sessions, three amazing men speaking and teaching us, burgers and sausages, coffee, tea, beverages and treats, some great fellowship and all in a military hanger to set the stage of going to war with the enemy through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Keynote speaker is Rev. John Cooper Jr is pastor and executive director of Niagara Gospel Mission, Niagara Falls, New York. A US Army veteran, he served in the 25th Infantry Division and 10th Mountain Division as an Infantry Sniper Section Leader from 2015 to 2021, and completed one combat tour to Afghanistan. In 2024.
John received the Military Hero of the Year Award from the Red Cross of Western New York. In 2025, John was inducted into the New York State Veterans Hall of Fame. John continues to minister to the veteran and military population, authoring the Warfighter’s Catechism, which wrestles with spiritual questions faced by soldiers on the front lines and hosting the Godly Grunt Podcast.
Pastor Tim Klassen will kick the event off with a message of encouragement and Dave Cheperdak will close the event with a message that will empower of us men to take our rightful place in our families and communities as leaders and warriors fortified with the Full Armour of God! (eph. 6:13-18).
We are raising our swords, blowing the shofar and calling all to arms as we engage in a day of spiritual warfare at The Niagara Military Heritage Centre, 12761 Sodom Rd, Niagara Falls, ON. Come out and let’s unite as Brethren and see what our Father has for us all!
