First and foremost Dr. Dmitri Sokolov is a happy husband and proud father. As well as being a Pediatric and Family Chiropractor, Dr. Dmitri also a public figure, an author, and a Founding Partner and Independent Certified Coach, Teacher & Speaker of John C. Maxwell Leadership Team and an Assisting Coach in Warrior Coaching.
Being a not very healthy child Dr. Dmitri’s chiropractic journey became very early in his life as a chiropractic patient. Since the first adjustment Dr. Dmitri got his calling to be a chiropractor and to help other people to reach their full potential in health and in life. God’s blessings and hard work lead Dr. Dmitri Sokolov to become multiple times National Champion and a Member of National Swim Team of Belarus and former Soviet Union.
Dr. Dmitri’s has a very extensive educational portfolio started from getting a Sport Coaching Degree at the Belarus College of Future Olympians leading him to a Belarus State University of Physical Education and Sport to receive Health Science Degree. After moving to Canada Dr. Dmitri Sokolov continued his education at Kikkawa College as a Massage Therapist, then McMaster University completing Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program. Dr. Dmitri received his Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with Magna Cum Laude and Clinical Honours in 2008.
Being passionate in Pediatric and Family care Dr. Sokolov completed his Pediatric, Pre-natal (pregnancy) Webster Technique Certification from ICPA, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Dr. Dmitri Sokolov believes that growth and improvement is an endless journey and therefore multiple BMJ training, and multiple other courses and certifications, seminars and conferences coaching sessions are always in his calendar. All degrees and diplomas are available at the clinic.
Inspired by God, Dr. Dmitri practices in one of the largest chiropractic and pediatric practices in the World, Healthy Kids & Family Chiropractic in Markham, Ontario, Canada and was recently awarded as a Worldwide Leader in Healthcare by International Association of Healthcare Providers.
But the most important is that Dr. Dmitri has a servant’s heart for God and people that allows transformation and healing happening in many people by one of the most important principles “Above-Down, Inside-Out!” His humble and favorite saying is “I just move the bone and God does the Healing.”
